Bahamut Versa is a Boss in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Bahamut Versa is a destruction incarnate and doppelganger to one-half the god of all creation Sensing a buildup of Astral power, Bahamut Versa traveled from another dimension to the Sky Realm, where Lilith sealed it inside Id to be unleashed again when the occasion suited her. Bosses are special types of enemies that have distinct characteristics, and unique abilities that extremely challenge the player in strategy and combat. These formidable hostile beings are generally required to be defeated to advance the main campaign, to complete primary side quest objectives, and to earn unique rewards.

The Bahamut Versa will display some familiar standard attacks and move sets seen in the encounter with Proto Bahamut. This time the battle will take place in the Forgotten Sky. The Bahamut Versa still relies on claw attacks that will follow with a brief pause to give you the opportunity to attack the landed claws. This time in the fight, the Bahamut Versa will have more unpredictable maneuvers and can dive up and emerge from underneath the center of the arena while repositioning itself. Its beam attack will have a more sporadic pattern that will be difficult to predict.
Since it moves more rapidly into the combat area, there are more opportunities to reach the Bahamut Versa and attack it from behind. Be mindful of its greater attacks. As you progress, the Bahamut Versa can deploy Hell's Flare which can cover the whole combat arena, covering the space in a pattern of fire and shockwaves that players will need to concentrate on avoiding simultaneously. Run in the direction away from the rotation of fire while watching any shockwave markings on the floor while this is deployed. Wait for the attack to end before running back in and targeting its torso once again. Anticipate similar larger attacks that take up the combat area. Blast zones will appear to give you time to escape damage as well. Maneuver around the attack circles. The circle markings that will appear on the ground will explode once the inner circle expands and reaches the outer circle.
When you progress through the fight the Bahamut Versa may go through a charging phase where Reason's Transcendence will charge up. This is your chance to target the center of his chest and deploy all your large heavy attacks to Break him. It will then progress into another full-scale arena attack. Lyria will call out in the middle of the fight to gather around her. When the dialogue ends and you attain control of your character again, quickly run into Lyria's protection. After this sequence, the battle will progress into Id's final encounter.

| Hell's Flare | The Bahamut Versa has a powerful attack that can focus on an area in the arena and deploy a wall of fire in the pattern of a cross. This cross is pre-marked before the fire appears. The fiery cross will then begin to rotate and a shockwave will pulsate and radiate outwards from the center of the attack. | Players will need to focus not only on the rotating walls but also on the shockwaves that will be emitting and pulsating form the center of the attack. Move in the direction of the fire's rotation and continue to jump over the shockwaves as they come at you. |
