Id is an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Id is a special character that can shift between his human or dragon form, he specializes in wide attacks and is equipped with Dark-type skills. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink are recruitable characters that join The Captain's party in both exploration and combat.

They are all unique in many ways such as the element they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In Granblue Fantasy Relink, players can make a party of 4 where the leftmost slot is the one the player controls, but in the main story, The Captain must be in the party for the main story, otherwise, they can play as any character they like.

How to Recruit Id in GBF Relink

• Id joins as a temporary member in Chapter 9: Opposing Wills.
• Id becomes a mandatory playable character in Chapter 0: Skybound Heart and is permanently added to the party as players progress in Chapter 0. Chapter 0 is accessible after completing "Final Chapter: Id".

 

Id Combat Guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink

Id is a swordsman who has overcome the harsh fate imposed upon him. He overwhelms his enemies with the power of destruction.

Press ▢ repeatedly to perform combos, or △ to lunge at a foe. His △ is also chargeable for more power. Landing a charged △ attack or following up with a △ attack fills the Versalis gauge. Once the gauge is full, Id enters Dragonform, enhancing his attacks.

Id has access to different skills and ▢/△ attacks while in Dragonform. He can also directly combo into the fast, multi-hit section of his combo by rapidly tapping ▢ or △ right after performing a combo finisher, link attack, or activating a skill. While in Godmight, not only is Id immune to all status ailments, but he also gains a big boost to his attack power. However, all power is fleeting, as soon as Id uses his unique △ combo, he'll transform back to his normal state.

Just like how he is faced in battle in his initial Boss encounter, he is just as powerful as a controllable character and ally. With a powerful kit and combo set, comes a learning curve and a number of combos and attack button combinations to keep track of. Id has the ability to completely transform, modifying his attacks while in dragon form. He is a very nimble and versatile character to play much like The Captain, Gran. This makes him a great addition to the team and can even carry a team in combat. 

Id at his core is a swordsman who can deal heavy but quick swings with his Greatsword. His move set is fast-paced and has a large range. Players using Id can charge up his attacks to increase the power and range of his AoE attacks. Aside from his standard powerful combos and basic attacks, he also has an alternate dragon form that switches up his combos and sword swings into relentless claw swipes allowing him to thrash his surroundings. His dragonfrom makes up for the lack of skill variety in his kit, which then expands his set of abilities. Because of his unique powerful dragon form, his most effective play is to fill up his gauge in order to unleash this form and enhanced powers for a temporary period. Those who main Id will then be recommended to create a build based on optimizing filling this gauge. Use weapons that will increase his Damage and crit chance to more effortlessly and repeatedly fill the gauge so that you can utilize his dragonform during each combat encounter. When creating a build for Id, think about how to maximize time in combat where he is in dragon form.

Id Fate Episodes

Fate Episodes are a special feature in the game wherein players get to see each Ally's point of view of the events that happen throughout the story. Each Episode is a fully-voiced diary entry of sorts that allows the player to peer into the mind of the character as the story progresses. More Fate Episodes are unlocked as players progress through the story, as the characters level up, and as players complete more Fate Episodes. Completing Fate Episodes rewards players with stat bonuses and even unlocks slots for equipping Sigils.
