Charlotta is an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Charlotta is one of the most agile characters in the game, she is skilled at hindering the enemy with rapid cuts, aerial attacks, and she boldly strikes her foes straightforward. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink are recruitable characters that join The Captain's party in both exploration and combat.

They are all unique in many ways such as the element they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In Granblue Fantasy Relink, players can make a party of 4 where the leftmost slot is the one the player controls, but in the main story, The Captain must be in the party for the main story, otherwise, they can play as any character they like.

 

The captain of an order of holy knights, all of whom have sworn a sacred pledge. Her sword, a weapon that cleaves evil in twain, is equal to her in both size and power.

How to Recruit Charlotta in GBF Relink

• Charlotta can be recruited by using a Crewmate Card at Siero's Knickknack Shack. The Character Recruitment feature becomes available at the start of Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue.
• Players can acquire Crewmate Card from Siero by progressing the main campaign or story. The following chapters where players acquire a Crewmate Card from Siero are as follows:
  • Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 6: In Search of Hope: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 8: Relink: x1 Crewmate Card
• Crewmate Cards in GBF Relink can be acquired as a reward for completing specific side quests from a town's "Quest Counter".

 

Charlotta Combat Guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink

Charlotta's heart is as big as the oversized weapon in her hand. As the captain of the Lumiel Order of Holy Knights, her duty is to ensure that evil never prevails.

Continuously pressing ▢ will perform a flurry of slashes that will gradually get stronger. Pressing △ in the end will allow Charlotta to perform a powerful attack at the end of the combo. Charlotta can also perform attacks that start mid-air with △, doing so will send Charlotte leaping in the air and performing a whirling slash as she lands on the target. She can also perform different attack styles with ▢ or △ while she leaps.

Charlotta's ◯ is her Valiant Stance, where she grants an attack boost of  30% - 120% effect only to Charlotta that will gradually strengthen over time. However, once she gets damaged she loses this effect. Her next skill is her ▢ which is the Shining Onslaught, this skill allows Charlotta to perform a multi-hit lunge attack that inflicts a lowered defense of 15% to enemies when hit. Another skill that Charlotta has is her △ which is the Sword of Lumeil. This skill unleashes a flurry of slashes that has wider cuts and deals a lot more damage the more Charlotta swings. Holding △ will keep it spinning. Her last skill is her X which allows her to jump into the air and unleash a long-range whirlwind of slashes. Upon the last slash, pressing ▢ or △ while in the air will unleash a follow-up attack.

Charlotta excels in agility thanks to her petite size and quick movement speed. Though she has a supportive skill, she is a great light attacker in combat who can apply pressure to nearby opponents. She can overwhelm Enemies with her quick attacks and rapid slashing speed dealt with her Sabre and can easily hinder enemies with her ability to relentlessly attack and then end with a strong combo finisher. Her lightness accompanied by her quick movement abilities and Skills that reward avoiding hits make her a high-risk, high-reward type of character. Her set of skills features several multi-hit or flurry attacks in addition to her standard melee attacks and maneuvers. Approaching foes aggressively with her attacks will only make her stronger with Valiant Stance. Using the Valiant Stance skill grants an Attack boost to Charlotta that strengthens over time if she successfully avoids hits, rewarding an aggressive Combat approach.  

Charlotta has a few special support skills and can use the X button to perform Noble Stance that causes her rapid attacks, linking attacks as well as activating damage that will cause Charlotta's blade to glow, and make her attacks stronger. Enforcer of Justice is another support skill Charlotta has. This skill allows her to block an oncoming attack from an enemy if players press the ▢ at the perfect time without being interrupted.

It is recommended to build her around the Damage Cap, Critical Damage, and Critical Chance as she has strong attacking skills already, increasing those will make her damage even more deadlier toward enemies. Her recommended weapon is the Ascension Weapon Glaidheamh Soluis which grants her with more attack power and HP traits to her build. As for Sigils, players can later add on critical chance sigils for her later on, in the beginning, prioritizing the offensive sigils to help maximize her power against enemies. Towards the end game or playing on a higher difficulty level, prioritizing HP or Aegis would benefit her better for her survivability. Using Damage Cap sigils will also help Charlotta deal more damage towards end game or playing on a higher difficulty to deal more damage to enemies.

When playing with Charlotta, it may be a learning curve for some, and could be good to practice her maneuvers since it will be beneficial to learn how to best avoid taking any incoming hits by dodging or blocking, and taking advantage of her agility for the best combination. Once players become comfortable with her attacks and combos, they can begin to try an aggressive combat approach accompanied by the complementing rotation of Skills available. The recommended rotation pattern starts with Valiant Stance to buff her attacks, Shining Onslaught to inflict more damage and bring down an opponent's Defence, followed by Sword of Lumiel to extend the damaging combo and finishing up the rotation with Holy Ladder for a final blow.

Charlotta Fate Episodes

Fate Episodes are a special feature in the game wherein players get to see each Ally's point of view of the events that happen throughout the story. Each Episode is a fully-voiced diary entry of sorts that allows the player to peer into the mind of the character as the story progresses. More Fate Episodes are unlocked as players progress through the story, as the characters level up, and as players complete more Fate Episodes. Completing Fate Episodes rewards players with stat bonuses and even unlocks slots for equipping Sigils.
