How to Unlock New Characters in GBF Relink?

Characters in Granblue Fantasy Relink can be recruited by using a Crewmate Card in Siero's Knickknack Shack. You'll first receive the card at the beginning of Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue and you'll acquire two more in Chapters 6 and 8 from Siero.

In total, you'll receive 3 Crewmate Cards from playing the main campaign but you can acquire more as "first-time" rewards from completing "Quest Counter" Side Quests for the first time. Please visit our Quests page to view a list of all available quests in Granblue Fantasy Relink.

Founder of Alchemy

Cagliostro is an alchemist who creates various combos using ▢ and △. Her △ attack is chargeable for more power. Cagliostro's combo finisher changes based on the number of ▢ attacks performed before the finisher. Cagliostro's △ attack charges much faster when charged right after performing a link attack or activating a damage skill. Unlocking Adrenaline Rush from her Masteries allows her to charge a △ attack faster. Try to use the best combo for the situation.

Eugen is a sniper who specializes in aiming for the weakness of his targets. Hold ▢ to enter sniper vision. In this stance, Eugen won't be able to move, but he can manually aim and shoot. This is very helpful for destroying body parts. Eugen can also throw grenades to damage foes in the form of a blast zone. Hold △ to aim, then throw. Grenades explode after a period time or it can be detonated by an attack.

Ferry specializes in using a whip in combat, take advantage of the weapon's long reach and hold down the ▢ button to deliver a barrage of blows. By holding down △, Ferry unleashes a storm of blows over a wide area, and if any of her pets are present on the battlefield, they'll hop in on the beatdown.

Io has two skills she can use, ▢ will allow Io to cast balls of magic, this attack is her chargeable attack and will grant her a Mystic Vortex orb. Meanwhile, △ will hit foes in a wide area. The amount of orbs Io has will determine how much she can charge her △ attack. If she can charge it up to the maximum level, she will be able to unleash a powerful attack.

Narmaya has two skills she can switch to which are Freeflutter stance and Dawnfly stance with △. Freeflutter allows Narmaya to perform fast combos in Dawnfly. If charged, her attacks will hit all foes within the area. Narmaya is able to seamlessly switch between stances from Freeflutter Stance to Dawnfly stance during Combat with a press of a button △. Switching stances grants access to another set of attack combinations

It is highly recommended to learn Adrenaline Rush from his masteries to double the speed of his charged attacks.

Whenever Rosetta ends a combo with △, party members inside a rose's radius are granted a buff.

Zeta's strengths are aerial attacks, after using ▢ for a combo or certain skills, Zeta can high jump off a foe. While airborne, press ▢ to dive bomb to foe, and if it is well-timed with pressing ▢, Zeta can enter an attack loop. Pressing △ allows Zeta to set up for a counter, and if successful, she'll high jump after countering. Press ▢ or △ while airborne to perform different attacks.

Allies (Characters) will serve a pivotal role in supporting a player's progress while traversing the land of Granblue Fantasy Relink.
