Quests in Granblue Fantasy Relink are specific missions and tasks that players undertake to meet particular requirements and earn in-game rewards. These quests are categorized into Main Quests, aligning with the narrative, and Side Quests, obtained through interactions with NPCs, accepting their requests, or triggering specific events. Main Quests Tips for GBF Relink
Whenever you are in the middle of completing a main quest or if you finish a chapter, make it a habit to travel back to the town or hub such as Folca or Seedhollow to discover new features such as new items in Siero's Knickknack Shack, new side quests at the quest counter, additional NPC Side Quests, and additional blacksmith assets. You can easily identify this with an exclamation point "!" on a facility's icon, which means there's something new worth checking out.
It's worth mentioning that when you are clearing a chapter, always keep an eye out for collectibles such as Treasure Chests, Shrouded Treasure, Omen Stones, Slimes enemies, and the crustacean Wee Pincer. In your first playthrough, there is no way to identify the total number of collectibles available for each chapter. However, upon beating the main campaign (completing Final Chapter: Id), the "Chapter Select" feature becomes available, allowing players to replay a chapter to find missed collectibles and even gain EXP to level up. To replay a chapter, head to the Quest Counter of a town/hub and choose Chapter Select.
Type of Side Quests in GBF Relink
NPC Sidequests
As mentioned previously, NPC Sidequests are undertaken by speaking to certain NPCs that are found in town areas. You'll spot them clearly as in-game models with a speech bubble containing the Quest icon. Once you speak to them, you'll the list of Items that they'll ask you to procure, as well as the list of rewards that you can get when you complete the Side Quest. If you've put any upgrade materials in your Wish List, they'll be seen here with the small magnifying glass icon.
Quest Counter Sidequests
When you speak to the NPC at the Quest Counter, you'll be able to undertake these Quest Counter Sidequests. When you select one from the list, you'll be able to see your main objective for the Quest, the different rewards you can get from them, and the side goals you can try to achieve that grant additional rewards. If you've put any upgrade materials in your Wish List, they'll be seen here with the small magnifying glass icon as well. Undertaking one will have you be transported automatically to where the quest will take place, and you'll also automatically return to town once you've finished. GBF Relink 2024 Demo Main Quest
Rescue the Villagers
Players are put right in the thick of things in the Story content of the demo, as the Skyfarer party lands on an island in the sky. Its villagers have been attacked by goblins who had been agitated by the unusually harsh winds surrounding the environment. The Quest takes the initial four characters, Gran, Katalina, Rackam, and Io, deeper and deeper into the fortress marking the goblin's territory, where they've taken a few of the villagers. As they fight through the goblin menace, Lyria notes what's really causing the unusually harsh winds that agitated the goblins in the first place.
