What are Status Effects in GBF Relink
Status Effects for Granblue Fantasy Relink are temporary effects that influence or interact with a character's Stats during battle. Depending on which Status Effect is affecting the character, their Stats or combat mechanics can be affected positively or negatively, which can skew the outcomes of battles a certain way. Granblue Fantasy Relink will feature a vast array of Status Effects that players can utilize to their advantage, or avoid and immediately recover from if they can.
When affected by a Status Effect, characters will have the symbol of that Status Effect under their orange Skybound Arts Gauge on the upper left-hand side of the screen. Similarly, Bosses that are affected by Status Effects will also have the logo of the Status Effect under their large health bar at the top of the screen. Status Effects usually affect the Stats of the character or skew a natural battle mechanic.

Stats in Granblue Fantasy Relink are numerical attributes that directly affect a character's growth, especially in combat. Each of the Stats in the game governs the character's resistance and prowess against \their environment and against the many Enemies and Bosses in the game. Stats play a large role in how players would like to play their favorite characters in the game and will be pivotal when building any of them during postgame, especially in tackling the content with the hardest difficulties.
Players will want to prioritize building up some Stats over others, through their choices of Traits that come with the characters' Weapons and Sigils. Depending on the playstyle or role they'd want a particular character to play, for a particular challenge they're about to face, may it be through the Main Quests or Side Quests.
