Zeta is an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Zeta is a spear wielder who specializes in aerial combos to punish her foes while in the air, with perfect timing, Zeta can continue assault her targets, right before delivering a powerful attack. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink are recruitable characters that join The Captain's party in both exploration and combat.

They are all unique in many ways such as the element they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In Granblue Fantasy Relink, players can make a party of 4 where the leftmost slot is the one the player controls, but in the main story, The Captain must be in the party for the main story, otherwise, they can play as any character they like.

 

This fearless fighter belongs to the Society, an organization which hunts primal beasts. She has formed a contract with the seal weapon known as the Spear of Arvess.

How to Recruit Zeta in GBF Relink

• Zeta can be recruited by using a Crewmate Card at Siero's Knickknack Shack. The Character Recruitment feature becomes available at the start of Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue.
• Players can acquire Crewmate Card from Siero by progressing the main campaign or story. The following chapters where players acquire a Crewmate Card from Siero are as follows:
  • Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 6: In Search of Hope: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 8: Relink: x1 Crewmate Card
• Crewmate Cards in GBF Relink can be acquired as a reward for completing specific side quests from a town's "Quest Counter".

 

Zeta Combat Guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink

Zeta works for the Society, a group that hunts primal beasts. She's armed with a seal weapon named Arvess, and she excels at counters and speedy aerial attacks.

Zeta's strengths are aerial attacks, after using ▢ for a combo or certain skills, Zeta can high jump off a foe. While airborne, press ▢ to dive bomb to foe, and if it is well-timed with pressing ▢, Zeta can enter an attack loop.

Pressing △ allows Zeta to set up for a counter, and if successful, she'll high jump after countering. Press ▢ or △ while airborne to perform different attacks.

Zeta's passive skills are also quite useful as well such as Accelerating Flare. This allows her to loop an airborne attack at the perfect time upon jumping high by pressing the X button. Another one of her passive skills is Arves Resonance where she can land a loop finisher upon completing three loop combos in a row that will inflict the Arvess Fermare ailment onto enemies.

Zeta's only plain skill is her X called Signo Drive which grants an attack boost of 25% to the entire party. One of her Fire skills is her ▢ called Infinite Wonders where she can fire a multi-hit piercing beam that can be used 3 times in a row. Arvess Fermare will inflict the enemies upon getting hit, Arvess Feremare causes more damage from Zeta's attacks. Another Fire skill Zeta has is her △ is Spear of Arvess where she will perform a lunge attack where she jumps high off of an enemy upon impact. Her last fire skill Realm's Majesty by pressing ◯ Zetaprepares to parry and counter-attacks, she also inflicts Arvess Fermare when countering and high ups off of an enemy.

Zeta has unique battle mechanics that allow her to fight at her best when he's hacking and piercing away in mid-air. Reminiscent of the Dragoon class in the Final Fantasy franchise, Zeta wields her spear as she jumps and performs her combo loops. When she starts her combo with her basic attack in mid-air, she has to deploy another basic attack with perfect timing to start her combo loop. Every time players attempt this, she gets an attack boost. Players have to keep attacking at the perfect time after this again and again to keep cycling her loop and strengthening her ATK. When she finishes the loop with a finisher with her triangle attack, after having done at least three loops, she'll dive down with her strongest attack and inflict any Enemies she hits with a special debuff.

Aside from this, she can buff the entire party's ATK power, making her an aggression-oriented character, really just trying to deal damage as much as possible. She also has her own parry Skill which when successful also launches her up in the air to be able to start her loop. Overall, Zeta might not be the easiest character to learn and use, but mastering her mechanics pays off exponentially, especially with her very unique battle style.

It is recommended to max her damage, critical chance as well as critical damage so players can take advantage of her high dps while combating enemies. As for her weapons, the Ascension Weapon Brionac is a good choice as it adds more attack power and HP traits to the build. Sigils can later be used to increase the critical damage when players can do so. Utilize the sigils to increase Zeta's offense for her damage thus adding more damage to her other skills and weapon. Increasing the Zeta's health or aegis with the sigils will be helpful in late game or while playing in a harder difficulty.

Zeta Fate Episodes

Fate Episodes are a special feature in the game wherein players get to see each Ally's point of view of the events that happen throughout the story. Each Episode is a fully-voiced diary entry of sorts that allows the player to peer into the mind of the character as the story progresses. More Fate Episodes are unlocked as players progress through the story, as the characters level up, and as players complete more Fate Episodes. Completing Fate Episodes rewards players with stat bonuses and even unlocks slots for equipping Sigils.
