Ferry is an Ally Character in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Ferry is a special-type character who uses a whip that can attack at mid-range, Ferry can conjure her spirit pets to provide a variety of supportive effects to the team while also applying pressure to the enemies. Allies or Companions in Granblue Fantasy Relink are recruitable characters that join The Captain's party in both exploration and combat.

They are all unique in many ways such as the element they control, weapon specialization, combat style, personality, and appearance. In Granblue Fantasy Relink, players can make a party of 4 where the leftmost slot is the one the player controls, but in the main story, The Captain must be in the party for the main story, otherwise, they can play as any character they like.

How to Recruit Ferry in Granblue Fantasy Relink

• Ferry can be recruited by using a Crewmate Card at Siero's Knickknack Shack. The Character Recruitment feature becomes available at the start of Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue.
• Players can acquire Crewmate Card from Siero by progressing the main campaign or story. The following chapters where players acquire a Crewmate Card from Siero are as follows:
  • Chapter 4: Skies Forever Blue: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 6: In Search of Hope: x1 Crewmate Card
  • Chapter 8: Relink: x1 Crewmate Card
• Crewmate Cards in GBF Relink can be acquired as a reward for completing specific side quests from a town's "Quest Counter".

 

Ferry Combat Guide for Granblue Fantasy Relink

Ferry specializes in using a whip in combat, take advantage of the weapon's long reach and hold down the ▢ button to deliver a barrage of blows. And in doing so, one of her pets will be summoned on the last hit. By holding down △, Ferry unleashes a storm of blows over a wide area, and if any of her pets are present on the battlefield, they'll hop in on the beatdown.

By using the same set of commands while Ferry is Airborne, Ferry can perform an Air Combo or an Aerial Barrage. She can also launch right after jumping. Her combos and attacks are done with a whip, her main weapon, while her special skills and abilities rely on the presence of her summoned pets. With her whip, she has a mid to long-ranged reach and can keep a distance away from her targetted opponents. Using her abilities and combos can further extend her range and turn her attacks into large-area AoE attacks that surround Ferry. The range of this attack is affected by how many pets are active on the battlefield. Her attacks consist of quick, basic combos and swift flicks of the whip that can be directed at the target ahead. She can also trigger a flurry attack which deals a succession of quick flicks. The dynamic range of the whip accompanied by her aerial combo abilities make her a very agile and dynamic character in combat.

While her regular and standard attacks rely on her whip, her skills are centered around her pet summons which can directly affect the effectiveness of other skills and can also be affected by other actions and attacks. Ferry has 3 pets in total and will individually support and deal damage to nearby targets when active. Players will want to take advantage of her summons' aid by dealing charged attacks which would summon one of her pets or resort to the link attack when needed to summon all her pets. This maximizes the damage output and pressure on the targetted opponents with Ferry unleashing her string of attacks with the aid of her summons on the battlefield. To maximize damage further, Haunting Army can then be used to increase the damage of her attacks which is directly affected by how many pets are present on the battlefield. This gives Ferry a clear succession of support skills. Ensure Onslaught is not used before this skill as this will dismiss all the pets from combat. 

Because of this combination of skills and effects, Ferry has a clear skill pattern and flow. Begin the attack rotation by landing the final hit of a charged attack and continue to summon Ferry's pets onto the Battlefield. Maximize the pets on the field to maximize the effectiveness of the Haunting Army which can be used directly after. For faster results, perform a link attack to fill the battlefield and immediately follow with the buff. Use her Onslaught attack by holding △ which will dismiss the pets and you can start the process over again. Ferry will be constantly buffed and supported, adding stacked pressure to any opponents constantly while not having to get too close into the thick of battle. She is fairly easy to learn and her pets make great passive supports that will still benefit the team. This makes her a great offensive support character for players who don't necessarily want to rely on heavy close-ranged combat.

Ferry Fate Episodes

Fate Episodes are a special feature in the game wherein players get to see each Ally's point of view of the events that happen throughout the story. Each Episode is a fully-voiced diary entry of sorts that allows the player to peer into the mind of the character as the story progresses. More Fate Episodes are unlocked as players progress through the story, as the characters level up, and as players complete more Fate Episodes. Completing Fate Episodes rewards players with stat bonuses and even unlocks slots for equipping Sigils.
