The Bahamut Versa Omega encounter is the final chance to settle the score with Bahamut Versa in Chapter 0: Skybound Heart. Players will get a chance to play as Proto Bahamut during this encounter to balance the playing field. You will have access to the Proto Bahamut's set of attacks including the standard attack, Light Blast, Tackle, and Reginleiv. Once the fight begins play offensively and upkeep the pressure by repeatedly using your regular attacks and finishing off the sequence with Reginleiv on the Bahamut Versa Omega to start the fight. Use Reginleiv strategically since it will take a while to recover before its next use. The Standard Attack you have available for this fight consists of quick successive claw strikes. You will need to stay close to the Bahamut Versa Omega for these attacks to hit. Switch between your regular attacks and the Light Blast which shoots out subsequent blasts allowing you to distance yourself a little from the Bahamut Versa Omega.

Watch out for the Bahamut Versa Omega's retaliation since its claw attacks are strong, heavy attacks that deal great damage. These incoming strikes will be obvious to catch as it draws back its arm just before the strike. The Bahamut Versa Omega will have a similar set of attacks as the Proto Bahamut with an addition of some greater special skills, so watch out for the beam attacks and try to Dodge them as they come. You'll also be able to distance yourself away so that these attacks remain out of reach. Most of the Bahamut Versa Omega's attacks are telegraphed. It takes a moment to charge up or wind up before delivering a blast or strike, allowing you time to dodge or fly to the side, completely distancing yourself from the impacts of these attacks.

Since the fight is an aerial Battle, the Bahamut Versa Omega will also be able to reposition or fly off once in a while in the fight, forcing you to follow. Once the Bahamut Versa Omega flies away, it may perform a Daedalus Wing attack which then displays a landing path so you know where to avoid. Continue deploying standard attacks and switching to light attacks depending on the distance of the Bahamut Versa Omega. Take advantage of the Dodge and the Reginleiv whenever it is available. Whenever the Bahamut Versa Omega tries to charge up an attack, make sure you play especially aggressively to prevent the charge to possibly interrupt the next attack. Complete the pattern till it transitions to the next phase.

Phase 2 (Ranged Combat)

During this phase, you will have the freedom to maneuver. This phase will consist of a flurry of incoming ranged attacks and orbs or obstacles to avoid. The hazards will be obvious in the field, and you will need to fly around them as you approach. During this phase, you'll be relying on your light blast ranged attack until the next transition where it will return to regular face-to-face combat. You can then resume dealing your attack combos while dodging its incoming attack until it transitions back into ranged battle again.

Players will be transitioning in and out of the ranged combat sequence but with significantly more obstacles in the field each time. You will need to navigate through charged bolts and multiple patterns of orbs while watching the Primal Rage bar and preventing it from filling. Continue approaching till the next sequence begins. This is your chance to break Overdrive if the Bahamut Versa Omega is in Overdrive. Continue this rotation of attack and maneuver through the ranged attacks.

Phase 3

One final face-to-face encounter with the Bahamut Versa Omega. Deploy all your combos while the Bahamut Versa Omega is chained up by Rolan. This is your time to deal as much damage as you can before it frees itself. Use a combination of all your attacks. It may try to charge up a large attack, but you will be able to interrupt the charge by pressing aggressively. Aim at the chest and you will be able to finish it off. The fight is cleared before completing clearing its HP bar as Lyria and the Captain step in and finish off the fight.
