Elusious Windwyrm is a Boss in Granblue Fantasy Relink. When the clouds glow like gems in the sky, it's a sign the windwyrm is near. Its existence is largely unknown, for the proud dragon only appears before the worthy. But when a warrior of true caliber gazes up at the iridescent skies, a gale will pick up, the trees will bow, and the Storm Lord will descend from on high. Bosses are special types of enemies that have distinct characteristics, and unique abilities that extremely challenge the player in strategy and combat. These formidable hostile beings are generally required to be defeated to advance the main campaign, to complete primary side quest objectives, and to earn unique rewards.

Elusious Windwyrm Fight Strategy

Elusious Windwyrm performs a twister release where he will face the ground and charge up to release multiple twisters toward the players. When players see him face the ground, it is recommended to get as far as possible to avoid the twisters or try to get to him and attack him while the twisters disperse. Another attack he does when he sucks in the air is he will perform an air blast toward the players a few times, it will take him a moment to suck in the air so players can easily reposition themselves to avoid the blast. His next attack where he would need to suck in the air is his arena blast. This is where he will bast out a line of green flames that will start from one side of the arena to the other. Players can easily dodge this by getting behind him and attacking him from there as his flames won't reach the side or back of him. His last attack for him to suck in the air is when he performs a ground blast that covers a large AoE. Players can easily avoid the blast as there will be an indicator on the ground with red circles. Two other of his attacks are his shove and slash. He will prepare a stance where he leans towards where he will shove players and perform the attack, the best way to counter this attack is to dodge out of the way at the right time or get to his other side and attack him from there. As for the Slash, he does a quick attack where he slashes players with his claws, which leaves him open on the back and sides, so players can attack him from there as well.
During Elusious Windwyrm's Overdrive Mode, he performs Maelstrom. Elusious Windwyrm will leap into the air and unleash a giant twister that will slowly separate into several smaller twisters that will rotate around the arena. The recommended counter for this is to stick to the edge of the arena to avoid getting damaged.
