What are Terminus Weapons
Terminus Weapons are the endgame Weapons in the game. They are regarded to be the best Weapons in the game when maxed out. When uncapped, upgraded, and awakened to the maximum level, they contribute Stats to the corresponding character with an amount greater than even maxed-out Ascension Weapons. Terminus Weapons give the Catastrophe and Regen Traits as their initial Traits. Catastrophe increases the character's attack power and raises the Damage Cap whenever their HP falls below a certain amount. Regen allows them to regain health every second they're in battle.
Being the most powerful Weapons in the game, Terminus Weapons are also the hardest to acquire and will require a lot of both skill and luck from players. To try and acquire them, it is recommended that players build up their main characters to the highest level, and have significant investments to their gear upgrades.
How to Get Terminus Weapons
As mentioned previously, Terminus Weapons are the best Weapons in the game for their corresponding characters, so it's no surprise that acquiring them might also probably be the most difficult endeavor in the game. After finishing the Veteran Skyfarer Rank Up Quest after defeating Bahamut Versa Omega and completely finishing the post-game story, players will be automatically able to attain the Zegagrande Legend rank, which first unlocks the Maniac difficulty level Side Quests. After completing the Maniac Key Quests and Rank Up Quests, they will be able to unlock the Proud difficulty level Side Quests. Afterward, they'll just have to complete a couple more Proud level Side Quests to unlock one called the The Tale of Bahamut's Rage. It is this Side Quest that players will have to farm again and again to get a chance to acquire one of the character-specific Terminus Weapons. Players will not have to build up each character to try and acquire their specific Terminus Weapon, but they will have to keep completing the Side Quest over and over to collect them, as there is a very low chance for the Terminus Weapons to drop.
How to Forge and Upgrade Weapons in GBF Relink
Just like the characters themselves, Weapons have their own levels in Granblue Fantasy Relink. Players are able to see their Weapons' current levels just by selecting them from the Inventory or Gear section of the Main Menu. Beside the level, players are able to see six hollow stars. Weapons in GBF Relink seem to follow an Upgrade System that is prevalent in most gacha games, while not being a gacha game itself. That is, Weapons will have a limited max level until they are uncapped by filling out each star. Starting from no stars, Weapons level is capped at level 10 until the first star uncapped, which then increases the level cap to level 30. The next star will bring the cap up again to level 50, and so on. Upgrading the Weapon's level will entail using up Fortitude materials and will increase its base HP and ATK stats. Uncapping and filling up stars will entail using up various iterations of Refinium materials, depending on what rank they are being increased to.
