Life Link is a Key Item in Granblue Fantasy Relink. The Life Link is a vitality connection between Lyria and The Captain. Key Items are objects associated with story progression and unlocking treasure chests, they are primarily obtained by completing chapters of a Main Quest or as rewards for completing specific Side Quests and being promoted to a higher Skyfarer Rank.
When The Captain perished while defending Lyria from the Erste Empire's clutches, she shared her life force with the future captain saving him/her and parking an incredible adventure. They now share an unbreakable bond.
