Alpha Opus Sigil Usage
The Alpha Opus Sigils enhance the normal attack damage cap even further, augmenting it by 25% at level 15 and by 40% at level 30. Notably, the secondary trait also pertains to enhancing the Damage Cap, as previously indicated. Additionally, activating an SBA while equipped with this Sigil accelerates the gain of SBA gauge for all allies. However it is worth noting that the added SBA points for every SBA that the user will do will not add 30%, but instead add 3%. This is a nice boost in addition to the 40% additional normal attack damage cap. Note that an individual will not have the leisure to just equip this sigil.
There are a couple of factors that a player needs to consider. Depending on their mains, using this Sigil may not be applicable. Each character has a different damage distribution, in other words, the majority of their damage comes from skill usage or normal attacks. In this essence, players need to know where their characters are getting the bulk of their damage dealt. However, it would be difficult to determine since players are required to use third-party programs just to monitor their damage. Or simply by doing multiple tests and carefully watching the numbers. However, this would be a daunting task for most people. The third-party program only applies to PC users of course and PlayStation users can ask a PC user to monitor their damage for them.
This is not the only underlying issue if you want to use this Sigil. All of the opus Sigils have their own Regular Damage Cap Trait set as a secondary Trait. This would mean that players will be removing their existing Damage Cap Sigils. Most of the time, these Sigils contain defensive utility traits as a secondary trait. Meaning, that players will be sacrificing a handful of utility defensive traits if they want to use Opus Sigils. Be reminded as well that there are cases in which you need to use four different opus sigils.
